🌍🌾 Pioneering project in Egypt: "Al-Baraka" farm paves the way for sustainable change

We are pleased to present our first project in Egypt: the "Al-Baraka" farm in Shusha! This important project marks the start of our efforts to implement sustainable and socially responsible projects in Egypt as well. The farm, which is located about an hour northwest of Minia City and covers an area of 32 hectares, is a valuable property of the Diocese of Minya. 🌿🌾

The goals of our local partner are very ambitious. They want to realize the full potential of the farm by cultivating additional mango and vines, investing in livestock, and introducing modern agricultural machinery. The "Al-Baraka" farm is intended to become a model for sustainable agriculture and at the same time bring social impact and environmental benefits. 🌱🐑

The project is carried out through close cooperation with local partners and technical experts on site. Our commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly practices is at the heart of our efforts. The farm is to become a lighthouse project that inspires others to adopt environmentally conscious agriculture. 💡🌍

We are particularly proud that the re-payments from the "Al-Baraka" farm go to our innovative "Starkmacher Impact Revolving Fund".  This fund ensures that the financing of further impact projects in the Global South is secured in the long term. Through this approach, we not only create immediate improvements on the ground, but also lay the foundation for long-term positive change. 🌐💼

A heartfelt thank you to our supporters, especially to the Archdiocese of Cologne, for their generous support and trust. Together, we will launch more projects like this and shape a sustainable future. 🚀✨
